During the Mikey debacle (in what I now see was a hopeless attempt to explain) I told the Star Trek:TNG plot line about what amounted to a dress rehearsal.
The question: if Newton’s Apple really is GigoloMan/Mikey/Finder/FormerAgent – is he getting better with each succesive personality? Or just repeating the same self-destructive cycle every time?
I’m not sure they’re the same, though. (Maybe I’m gun-shy, having screwed up with Capt Ed). But I think I had a fair amount to do with Mikey’s downfall, and yet Newton’s Apple showed me no more animus than the next guy.
Ah, who knows.

Cheez, ya know, I get tired of these idiots coming on and attacking David. Dammit, that’s MY job. When the weirdos come in then I have to defend him (at least jump his case for the right stuff, dammit!), or at least make it clear that I don’t agree with the idiots, and then look what happens to Satan in Raleigh!
God knows, NA/formerwhatever, there are legitimate criticisms to be made of David. But we ain’t seen one made by you. And when you start making threats you solidify support behind him and show yourself to be a class A jerk. Here’s a clue: just because somebody disagrees with you, or points out where you are wrong, doesn’t make them a bad person, and it doesn’t mean they’re out to get you.
