What do you do on daylight savings time? I’ve only two things—reset clocks and change the batteries in the smoke detectors. But now that we’re in a house with property (as opposed to an apartment), I figure there’re probably a few other things out there that need doing once or twice a year. Change furnace filters? Inspect the chimney? Remove and replace all the insulation? You know, things that need doing periodically but without a definite schedule. Anyone out there do more than the smoke detector thing?

Thanks,

Rhythm

Usually I just bitch and complain for a few weeks…

But to be helpful, How about checking the expiration date on your fire extinguishers?

I just change the clocks and **test** my smoke detectors.

It will beep when the batteries are low, so there is no point in replacing perfectly good batteries.

Me too. Or I’m really happy for a few weeks, depending which direction we’re shifting. The recent one is of course the bitch and complain one.
