# Daylight Savings Time

Although I’m sure it’s not part of the list of reason DST was instituted, I can attest to one of the benefits.

Many youth baseball fields (especially practice fields) have no lights. With DST, you can schedule at practice or game at 5:30 or 6:00 (after the adults are home from work)and still get it in before darkness ensues.
