# DC "New 52": Biggest Disappointments

There’s going to be a JSA book set on Earth-2 at some point in the near future. (Miniseries, I believe. Most of the announced post-launch books are.)

The New Gods are fairly prominent in the relaunch - they feature in the first arc of JLA (we see what appears to be a new kind of Paradaemon planting a motherbox), and Mokkari is the major villain in issue 1 of OMAC (probably continues to be so). Also, the creature the JLI are fighting come the end of issue 1 is VERY Kirby. Don’t recognize it, but I’d be surprised if they just built something Kirby-ish without a plan to tie it to one of the Kirby-created properties, so likely it’s either not new, or it’s got ties to OMAC or the New Gods.

It’s been like that for the past fifteen years dude. One of the many reasons I dont buy comics anymore.
