Wait . . . activgurl, which one were you? I know who theios was from talking about her screen name. I donā€™t remember you, though. Anyway, yes I just woke up about 15 minutes ago. After dropping Sang and Captain Amazing off at Dunn Loring Metro, I dropped Neidhart at his house, which, it turns out, is not quite one mile from mine. So thanks to Jonathan for a lovely time and child, and Lucretia and Bluesman for letting me hang with their kids (I love kids. Love 'em love 'em love 'em), and Doors for tolerating me and all my bad jokes and my analyses of various dopers who will not be named later:D And Doors: apparently we were both [url-ā€œ[http://www.baseball-almanac.com/piwins4.shtml](http://www.baseball-almanac.com/piwins4.shtml)ā€]wrong, though I donā€™t place a whole lot of credence in a site that misspells pitchersā€™ names. Chesbro had 41 (NY, AL, 1904), Walsh 40, and Walsh holds the record for innings in a season, modern-day (464 in 1908 for the White Sox). And it was also lovely to meet Neidhart (who knew we lived so close?), Sang (who does not live nearly so close to me as NeidHart), and whoever else Iā€™m forgetting. And Geobabe, I owe you a punch, or do you owe me one? Weā€™ll resolve that next time;) Perhaps Bluesman should bring his gun:) ---

'Twas a pleasure to meet all of you again, though next time I seriously doubt Iā€™ll be up for a game of volleyball. Offical verdict (after _five_ #\*&(@(\* hours waiting in the hospital emergency room)- Iā€™ve probably torn something in my ankle. Iā€™m in a cast, on crutches, and get to see an orthopedist this week to see exactly what the damage is and how long itā€™ll take to recover. Nonetheless, Mr. Chance throws an _excellent_ party, and Iā€™ll probably be there for Halloween, assuming I can actually walk by then. ---

God **DAMN** am I sore. The party ended 19 hours ago and weā€™re still blowing off clean up duty. Wouldnā€™t you? **Airman Doors** , much thanks for the 15 dollars you so unwisely bet the master of 80s tunes. I used them for carousel rides for Kate today at the mall after dropping off Jay and Pauletta at the bus station. **John** , what can I say? It ainā€™t a party until thereā€™s an injury. Hey, my head still hurts. Iā€™m glad everyone came. We all had a good time and met a bunch of new people. If that ainā€™t worth it, I donā€™t know what is. The Halloween Costume party will be Saturday, October 27, 2001. Also beginning at 2PM. And the costumes are **required**. See you there! O my head! Some advil please! ---
