# DC/NoVa Tech Dopers: Wanna job?

More specifically, mine. I’ll be leaving my current employer on May 6 to go be a US Foreign Service Officer. I actually like the people I work with, so I’m looking for leads to give them when I hand in my notice.

It’s Tier II and III Helpdesk for a nonprofit, and my email’s listed if you need more details or want to send me a resume. The pay is OK, but the benefits and people are great. Good for someone starting out or looking for a “coasting” job while they get their shit together.

Oh, hell. That sounds just about perfect for me – I graduate the day before you leave your job, and I’m planning on going into the tech field. Now if I can just figure out how far Dupont is from Richmond I’ll be golden. Gimme a map or something.

**Ra’chaar** , Dupont is in mid-downtown DC, so unless you were considering moving to Northern Virginia, you’re looking at a three-hour commute conservatively.

I’m in Delaware, looking for something good in the IT field. Can I have more info? What kind of experience are they looking for? I have help desk for Earthlink (ISP) and Dell. Also have my A+ & Network+ CompTIA certs. If it pays well enough, I’ll move. My sister already is in the Woodbridge area.
