Hell, we don’t have a place, too. I’ve been playing phone tag with the special events coordinator at D&B all week. Apparently, we can get full buffet service, for about $20/each. I know that’s too expensive, so I’m trying to see if we can just be guarranteed tables for 20-25 (special events are 30+), and handle payments on a person-by-person basis. If that falls through, I’m going to start calling the Friday’s/Bennigans/Tuesday’s crowd a half-mile up the Pike. ---

Is there anything I can do to help? I’m kinda full-up tonight, but I can make some calls and stuff tomorrow morning. Whatever happens, the plan’s gotta be locked in at least an hour-and-a-half in advance, for us Metro-schleppers. Looks like **goboy** got left behind cause of a change last week. (BTW, I’m still all about Dave & Buster’s. It’s one of the few opportunities I have to drive in the fashion I prefer without endangering others.) ---

Okay, I finally heard back from D&B today. The deal is they won’t insure anything for us unless we want to do the full party deal, which will cost a minimum $20-25 each. I’m sure we don’t want to do that. So, we do one of two things: 1. Show up at D&B on a busy Saturday night and hope they can accommodate 20-25 or so of us. This is what the special events lady suggested we do. There’s no promises we can all be together, but at least we’ll all be in D&B. 2. Meet somewhere else. **Anniz** and I had dinner at Ruby Tuesday’s the other night, and had a very good meal (the best burger she’s had yet in the States, in fact). I asked about their party room, and the waittress told me to just call a day or so beforehand to give them warning that a lot of people will be showing up. (3. Hi Opal!) What are your thoughts, people? ---
