And sadly, here in Minnesota, not only did our soon-to-be-former Governor Pawlenty veto Medical Marijuana, but our wishy-washy pussy of a Democrat candidate for Governor says that he won’t sign any bill opposed by Law Enforcement. Which of course, they will oppose just on principle. ---

I don’t know why anyone thinks it’s sound public policy to lock up a bunch of harmless potheads. It’s a total waste of tax dollars. The worst that could happen is we’d run out of twinkies.😃 ---

Pot was not made illegal because of it’s popularity as a drug. It was because William Randolph hearst was a paper baron who didn’t want to compete with hemp. It is kept illegal, because prisons and pharmecutical companies are BIG BUSINESS and the legalization would cost them TONS of money. ---

That is just silly. How would a prohibition on pot have helped Hearst kill JFK? It was Pierre S. DuPont. Hemp fiber is more practical than nylon. Notice that DuPont was developing nylon at the same time he was convincing FDR to fake the Pearl Harbor attack to bring us into the war. ---
