# Dead celebrities in current TV commercials

let’s make a list of dead people still appearing in current commercials selling products.

I’ll start it off:

Larry King dead going on 4 years.

Elmer Hauldren dead 13 years.

Bill Mays dead 15 years!

Colonel Sanders dead 44 years!

This isn’t the same as songs and movies that were made before their death. For crying out loud, make a new ad with someone else who is still alive!  
All of them appear in current commercials as if they are still alive and kicking.  
The Larry King one creeps me out the most. He’s conducting an interview for some half-assed prostate goop. Not that he wasn’t creepy while alive.

Jimmy Dean is long dead (died in 2010) but still hawking breakfast sausages on TV.

To be 100% fair, for years, KFC ads have been using various celebrities impersonating Sanders (or at least his voice). I don’t think that they have used footage of Sanders himself for some time.
