Hey all, I recently (about a month ago) had a package shipped to my -former- address accidentally. The current appartment owner said he never receieved it, and I have no reason to disbelieve his claims. Assuming that the mail carrier read his name on the mailbox instead of mine, what happens to the package? I -think- it goes to something like a dead letter office, but I really have no idea. I’d obviously like to -get- said package, but just knowing where it is would be a nice first step. Anyone have any idea how to go about this? Oh, and it’s not a package from anywhere that would have any way to track it, unfortunately. ---

You should first contact the post office where the package was delivered. If anyone has it, they do. If not, they can tell you what to do next. ---

If it has a return address on it it should go back to sender.
