It occurs to me that in the cases where she looked ‘like a crackhore’ were only when involved with her mother/family… its entirely plausable that her outward appearance would be ‘more distasteful’ to them then to the others at the temp agency or elsehwere. And, of course, her outward appearance (cute vs crackhore) was probably very dependant on the needs of the story at the time… now I’ll have to go back and watch if it was ‘really’ inconsistent or ??? And I really wanted to know what was up with the receptionist there… that was getting very interesting… ---

Assuming her initial outward “crackwhore” appearance, perhaps her complexion started to clear up a bit becuase she had better hygiene? I mean the crack whore persona still looked slim and healthy from the shots I saw of her, her face was just a little scowly and down the first few times we saw it. Perhaps by smiling more and using different makeup, she started to look more attractive? Also, keep in mind that 18 year old girls still have some development left in them, it could be that she finally filled out. I haven’t watched all the episodes yet, these are just rationalizations that come to mind. ---

For my money I think the fake George is way cuter. [Laura Boddington](http://uk.castingcallpro.com/portfolio/16/83666.jpg) vs. [Ellen Muth](http://cdn-channels.netscape.com/gallery/i/m/muth/lg1.jpg) I don’t see why people wouldn’t think the other version of George was unattractive. They only showed her for fleeting moments, but I was struck by her appearance. She would have been no more disheveled than George herself because she was wearing whatever clothes and makeup George had on. ---

[/QUOTE] that particular photo of Laura looks an awful lot like Lisa Kudrow The receptionist at Happy Time also seemed to know something about George was funny, or maybe just suspected it and count me among those completely crestfallen when the show was not renewed for another season ---

[/QUOTE] Yeah, I looked at her IMDB listing and saw the stuff about how smart she is, and her number shot up a few notches in my book. But regardless, I think she’s very squeezable. And I noticed, while watching one of last week’s shows (on SciFi), that the “alternate” George was pretty good looking in her own right–she was just made up to look worse for her part on the show.
