# Deal breaker: lack of a list of subscribed threads sorted by currency

#### I now think that setting a thread to 'Watching’ is more or less equivalent to subscribing on the old board.

It means that you get a notification every time someone posts something new to the thread. You will see the notifications popping up on your avatar.

There’s a notification icon at the bottom of the scroll bar (and at the bottom of the page) where you can change the notification status of a thread, so it’s always easy to do.

Admittedly, the only way to get a list of watched threads is to go to the **advanced search page** and select “Only return topics/posts… I’m watching” - or type in “ **in:watching** ” in the ordinary search box.

I’ve made a bookmark for watched threads, sorted by latest, and it works as a substitute for a list of subscribed threads:

In your Profile, under Preferences \> Notifications, you can also set it so that threads you post in are automatically watched, but you can easily change the status of individual threads any time.
