To dismiss someone because they have developed a skill that offends your puffed up and errant sensibilities about what it really means to be human is unfortunate. Per your previously posts I considered you to be a person of some intellectual and emotional depth. The “dealbreaker” criteria you are listing are making you look as shallow as a puddle. ---

And your attempt to define what is and isn’t ‘acceptable dealbreakers’ reveals yours. Yes, our ancestors hunted. Hallelujah. But there are a great many things that our ancestors did that we no longer do for economic or moral reasons. ---

Why do they have to get up at 3:00 a.m. to arrive at the deer hang-out before the deer do? Why do they have to wear a big ol’ orange vest on top of their camoflauge, to keep from shooting eachother? Wouldn’t you get the same effect from no camoflauge at all? Hunting is about buying as many items as you can, to confuse a gentle dim-witted animal. Back to the OP: If I were dating, I wouldn’t want anyone that disliked kids. I wouldn’t date or be friends with anyone that tried to force their religious, or political views upon me. ---

As someone who has hunted (and still will) and is not against it at all, I think you’re a bit full of yourself as a hunter. It’s currently unneccessary for the survival of most of the population and simply recreation or sport, and she doesn’t care for it…big deal. Maybe her ancestors were all vegetarian farmers and fishermen. Most women want good providers, but maybe not so much in the area of venison and coyote hides anymore.
