It was a broken night for me also. Apparently my bladder thinks it needs attention around midnight. I managed to doze off again, but woke around 1:30 and couldn’t turn my brain off. So I got out my tablet and played a mindless game till I felt dopey and I fell back to sleep. The alarm scared me… \*\*MetalMouse \*\*- what exactly do you do with 5-y/o girl soccer players? Do you work more on skills or rules or just keeping them going in the right direction as you mention? Do they hug you when practice is over? I asked for work yesterday and 3 of the engineers dumped a bunch of stuff on me, so yay! I shall be productive. What more can I ask? Happy Wednesday! ---

I didn’t go to _bed_ until almost 4:30 this morn though I [del]went to sleep[/del] passed out on the sofa many hours earlier. The problem was apparently there were no infomercials on the TV station that was on. It seems I hate those things so much that even when unconscious I wake up to turn the TV off (& then shuffle off to Serta) when they appear in my abode. I _hates_ those things. :mad: ---

Lunch time - YAY! This morning’s highlight was the call/text/email that my baby engineer got from the guy doing his security investigation. I’ve never seen so much paranoia in an otherwise intelligent individual. He first freaked out trying to figure out if it was legit or a scammer. Then he called our security office. Finally, he decided it was safe to call the guy back. He’s got an interview tomorrow. FREAK OUT!!! Now he’s worried about getting a haircut before their meeting. This kid cracks me up!!! 😃 ---

Mostly we try to play simple games to teach skills; Red Light/Green Light, follow the leader, dribble around the cones, and then try to get the basic ideas across (going out of bounds means stop, not run all the way to the fence/other field), and then just let them play the game. I’ve gotten hugs, but it’s the girls’ choice; a lot are still very shy and it’s their first time doing/playing something with a bunch of adults and a lot of kids they don’t know. Unlike others here (hang in their, **Butters** ), I slept till 0730 today. Fear my REM powers… ---

Afternoon, mumpers! I have been a bit MIA recently, life kind of took over a bit and with being away for a few days, I have not really been able to catch up with myself again. Work is going crazy again and that means I wake up more than usual in the night with a horrible feeling of not having done something! Given that i sleep about 5hrs a night anyway, all the interruptions are not good for me and consquently, I am permanently worn out. However, had a fantastic birthday weekend at a rock festival, saw loads of bands, met up with friends and had loads of beer. Can’t grumble about that! Now I am back at work and sorting out every bit of the mess made by other people just so that I can go on holiday at easter and not worry too much about the place falling to bits. rosie’s.sig to all. As for Foster’s, they still make oil cans; however, you’d probably be better off using that swill as a _very_ light weight lubricant. My buddy was a DJ at his college radio station, I went to visit one weekend, the weekend that Meat Loaf was there. My Fitbit apparently thinks I didn’t sleep at all last night. Stupit Fitbit. I know I did, 'cause I was awakened abruptly at about 4:30 or so by a loud _snap_ out in the house. Dorky the Yorkie, whose name is Gibbs, BTW, lept off the bed and ran into the kitchen, but without barking, and took up station next to the cabinet where I had placed a mouse trap a couple of months ago, and forgotten about. I looked inside. Yep. I’m a serial killer. I actually feel kinda bad about killing the little critters. They’re just trying to make a living. But they need to do it somewhere else. Anyway, didn’t go back to sleep for awhile after that so I was curious about how much I actually did sleep. **Mom** , it takes both of you to get a new car titled? Merrylande be a weird place. Happy Pi Day, y’all. I have a hankering for cherry pie this morning. Weird. 😕 ---

I got a nap - sorry **Butters** - and at least I can see again, my eyes aren’t burning anymore, and my brain is not in a fog anymore. I have been getting _many_ political calls on my house phone, all democrats. Sorry guys, you just lost my vote no matter what party you are in, because you called me. If you can’t respect my right to be on the DNC list, I can’t trust you to not be an asshole in other areas. I doubt that the republicans are any less of assholes, but they never call me. ---

I have no idea what this last guy was on about because I thought he said he was running for mayor? That doesn’t make sense because he was holding the meeting about an hour away from here in a different county. Maybe he said governor. Like I’m going to drive an hour+ to listen to him anyway. I don’t know, I’ve been getting calls just about every day. I can’t keep up with who is calling and why. Unfortunately they are calling on the house phone, which is also my irk phone, and I’ll usually answer without looking at the caller ID. Anyway, it just annoys me that politicians exempted themselves from the DNC List, like they think the rules shouldn’t apply to them. I think they should have to make their home and cell numbers public so we can annoy the hell out of them. ---

In the event something happens to him, I don’t need the hassle of not being on the title. But it didin’t matter today - until we get the title from Virginia, MD won’t issue one to us. So I took 2 hours off for nothing. But we did go to Amish Dave’s to get our mower back. Tune-up and sharpened blades for under $100 - not a bad deal, methinks. Sketties for supper tonight. Wallpaper is a PITA. Glad I’m payin’ folks to get rid of it rather than doin’ it myself. Anywho, things are startin’ to look good in the livin’ and dinin’ rooms paint wise so I am happy for that. What has really surprised me is how much brighter the rooms look when ceilin’s are painted. New white paint really makes a difference.
