Nick Charles Jr. is gone. I know it wasn’t his first role, but it was the oldest one I really noticed him in. What an incredibly long career. 1945-2015 * * * I recently was watching **[The Dunwich Horror](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065669/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_146)** which he starred in. ---

He had a starring role in one of the weirdest movies I’ve ever seen. Human Highway, a collaboration between Neil Young and DEVO, who also had starring roles. ---

I’ll miss him. He was a true classic. My ex-husband was so taken with Blue Velvet, he went as Dean’s character once for Halloween. It also meant I saw that movie about a dozen times. RIP, Mr. Stockwell. ---

He starred in my favorite movie, _Gentleman’s Agreement_, and came close to stealing the show from Gregory Peck. I was a fan of every phase of his career, from _Anchors Aweigh_ to NCIS. ---
