Dear OP: I noticed that you used a colon instead of a comma in the post title. I agree with this, and I’ve been trying to tell people that they should stop using the comma. But can you provide me with a strong argument to that effect? Also, I am tired of people using _blazé_ and _mind you_ and shit like that. ---

So, have I been using it incorrectly in this: _: “Tigers are perfect, the epitome of good looks and grace and quiet dignity.”_ Oh, and I suspect some commenters here have confused “crumpet” and “strumpet”. Then again, considering “rhyming slang”, maybe not. ---

And ‘epitome’ should be pronounced with only three syllables, not four. Regardless of it’s Greek via French origins, it’s an English word now, and damn well should conform to correct English pronunciations. ---
