It also cured my own case of rotting toenails not very long ago. ---

Has the cholesterol medication adversely affected your liver yet? Tests coming back all good? You’ll probably be fine with the anti-fungal meds then also. IANA doc, but I’ve been taking Lamisil for a few months, along with a steady diet of NSAIDs for a chronic shoulder issue, plus my physician knows I enjoy a wee drop fairly regularly…all that and my liver seems to be holding up just fine. My arm is resembling a pin cushion from all the blood tests, but the liver’s fine. You’re a relatively young person (I said _relatively_ **Aries28** ) so just think of how much grosser your feet are going to continue getting, it’s worth the annoyance of adding another pill. ---

\*\* Sauron\*\*, I feel your pain. No, really. 5’7". size TWELVE shoes. The ONLY thing about them that’s not hideous is that they DON’T have fur growing on them. DogDad calls 'em Ogre Feet. I’ve also got a Flat Feet Problem. You know how when you leave feet prints (say, from wet feet) that the arch is supposed to curve toward the outside of your foot? Mine curves the other way. Yeah. the “arch”, supposedly the narrowest part of your footprint, is actually the WIDEST part of mine. I hate my feet. Oh, and BTW - my bro had NOXIOUS nails like that and the doc cleared 'em up in about 3 months with Some Weird Thing Or Another. Maybe Lamisil. not sure. Hell, maybe it was chanting and burning herbs, for all I know. But in any case, I too recommend you Hie Thee To A Doctor Soon. ---

I love my feet. I may have more hair on my toes than some people have on my head, but their manual dexterity more than makes up for it. Plus, my feet stay warm even when I’m not wearing socks. My mom, on the other hand, has Toes from Hell. Her little toe curves almost completely under the other toes, and is basically one enormous callous. Last summer, she got a case of athletes foot that didn’t go away for two months and spread as far as her knees. Nasty. ---

**Sauron** , I was on the Lamisil for the toe fungi, and it wasn’t that bad. The first couple of days I got a mild headache, but it didn’t require a whole bunch of liver-checking bloodwork because I had never had liver problems before. I took the Lamisils for 90 days and I could see my toenails starting to become clear, actual real toenails again. Took about 8 months for everything to grow out to the point where I cut off the last remains of the fungus and I’ve been fungus free for a couple of years now. Definitely go see a doctor (one who can prescribe an oral anti-fungal) about that. It’s curable. ---
