What a sorry excuse of a deity you are! How dare you send another disaster of unspeakable proportions to MY home state. You sent your little whore friend, Katrina in first. People managed to survive her and even started to thrive after years of rebuilding. People started to believe that it really was just a test and would pull everyone together much stronger. That started to happen but being the bully you are, now we have a giant oil spill off the coast that is growing larger every single day. The dirty little secret is that this will be the biggest man made catastrophe in the history of the U.S. and possibly the world in upcoming months. No one has any idea how to stop it. Plan B will fail and there are no plans C - Z. Grow up you juvenile delinquent. Your firecrackers are bigger than those of most 7th graders and this shit isn’t funny any more. Get a job on a B-grade movie in Hollywood if you just like seeing things destroyed. I would call your parents but you don’t seem to have any. I will write your son because he seems like a decent person and let him deal with your dementia. Don’t write me back telling me more crap about Mother Nature either. It is all your family so deal with it. I am tempted to try to land myself in hell along with a few of my home-boys just so we can kick you in the jimmies one day. I know you think the Old Testament is the greatest accomplishment in literary history but, I hate to be the one to break it to you, it sucked big-time. Everyone hated the first addition and no one wants you to produce a sequel. ---

You’re pitting God for what you call a man-made disaster. You need clarification on either your theology, or your perception of cause-and-effect, or both. But Tom already grabbed that pear. Your home state was happy to collect a yearly pittance from the oil companies for the right to, among other things, potentially cause a disaster of unspeakable proportions visited upon your shores. Other states, equally if not as immediately endangered, didn’t get offered the same bribe. For the record, God thinks _Moby Dick_ was the greatest accomplishment in literary history, which just proves He hates sea-life. ---

I hear ya, Hon. Expat Mississippian and LA lover. I spent my lunch break in tears today because I know what destruction is headed there. Coworkers couldn’t quite get it, but, they will soon enough. Though MS and LA are often viewed at the bottom of the scale in some terms, ecologically, the wetlands there are at the top of the scale for breeding fisheries that make us all thrive. People who make a living there are tough, industrious, and self sufficient, from my experience in living there. They work hard at their trade. I understand your railing at any God that would allow this to happen. It’s horrendous. I’m in tears, too, but can’t assign larger blame until more facts are in. This was a human caused disaster, immense, and the best we can do now is to understand what went wrong, and not have it happen again. ---

Yeah the most recent incident wasn’t a natural disaster, obviously. But since you mentioned Katrina, you must surely realize that New Orleans has been completely fucking doomed since the day it was built right? I mean, technically every city is in the cosmic sense, but New Orleans is especially shit-wedged and going down much faster than the rest of them. Blame people for having such a hard-on for living in coastal areas. ---
