Someone mentioned upthread about **catsix** declaring how, if she had lived 100 years ago, she still would have been able to get exactly where she is today, based entirely on her own merits, despite the climate of the times. I wonder, would she also have been able to get Congress to allow her to vote all by her own little lonesome? (BTW, I think that was the same thread where I pointed out the contributions the Suffragists made and she gave me some bullshit about how it was the MEN in Congress who gave women the right to vote, not the activists.) ---

I’d hate to have to comb through all of this thread to find it-- do you know where it is? I have to shake my head in wonderment if she really said that. Apparently, she doesn’t undertstand the process of socialization. (I.E if you’re raised to believe something and everyone around you believes it, chances are, you won’t stray far from that belief.) It’s very difficult for me to do this (hell, I was here for almost seven years before I pitted a Doper), but I have to get this off my chest. **catsix,** you are a nasty, reprensible person. I feel somewhat sorry for you, because you must be a very unhappy person to be steeped in such bitterness and venom.
