I think my favorite thing about this thread is how many arch-conservatives will swear up and down they’re not Republicans. ---

I prefer to believe that’s because there IS no good non-obstructionist argument to the actions the Republicans are currently taking, and by not addressing it they’ve implicitly conceded that they’re just playing power games.
