HUGE vehicles do not stop, turn, or get good mileage. Nor are they considerate of the safety interests of others. Yes, freaking semis bug me also. If you want to drive a 10 MPG symbol that represents an extended middle finger to everyone else - that is your right. Of course, the majority of the SUVs of the future will be car based and completely unlike the Ford Extinction. Um, Excursion. ---

Since I entered the thread, I count three posters who have made negative comments regarding SUVs: **Eternal, Dr\_Paprika** and **Beagle**. **Eternal** was aptly answered by **enipla** , **Dr\_Paprika** actually made a good point regarding tailgaters in general, and **Beagle** is simply stating facts – SUVs take longer to stop than many other vehicles. I see no reason to converse with them about any of this. As I said earlier, you’re the only one I see still holding out this stereotype of SUV _drivers_. Therefore, you’re the target of my attempts to eradicate ignorance. I didn’t notice any mods posting after I entered the thread. However, I have no problem disagreeing with any mod on any matter unrelated to administration or moderation of the board. Having said all that, it’s entirely possible I missed a post or two in my review. I seriously doubt there were just scads of posters, though. ---
