I thought my penis might be preventing me from sharing in the sensitivity and consciousness they’re conveying, so I showed it to my wife when she got home, without any comment on my part, and asked for her to share with me her insight and wisdom of her feminine energy. Her comments: (long pause) “This is a cult, right?” (long pause) “What cult is this?” (long pause) “Are they…are they trying to get laid?” (shot of iceberg) “Wait, are they actually talking about the Earth? They’re tearing down men in order to put women on a pedestal, to convince themselves that women are naturally intuitive, profound, deep, Earth mothers (who also incidentally have no goals or desires that are on par with those of men). As for the apologizing, let me reiterate that they apologized for _burning women at the stake_. I couldn’t put enough greats in front of grandma to get that far back. In any case, the workplace thing is something you brought up, not me. I’d also like to add that I have a serious issue with people who present ideas as spiritual, deep, and enlightened, because they inevitably can’t take any kind of criticism. Whenever someone else disagrees with guys like these, the guys can just fall back on saying that that person is just not as enlightened and in touch with the earth as they are, and as soon as the critic sees the light they’ll obviously come around and agree with the manifesto. This, I assume, is the basis for these guys feeling like they can speak for all men everywhere - in their minds, all men would agree with them, if only they could open their minds enough to do so. They titled their piece _A Manifesto for Conscious Men_, and in it they say “Among the living, many men may be unable to apologize because they remain shackled in a prison of anger, fear and shame”. They’ve neatly constructed a system where a man either agrees with them, or admits that he is unconscious, angry, fearful, and ashamed. That’s very convenient for them, since they surely don’t feel compelled to listen to men like that. ---

You might want to consider the amazing possibility that not only is the world full of people with different opinions from yours, but that some of those opinions might actually have been formed out of an honest examination of the facts. I have to admit, speaking just for ymself, that a cheesy Youtube video that implies women aren’t good at math is not strikingly impressive. They seem to be insulting the intelligence of all the women I love and admire. But that’s just me, lacking a feminine spirit and all that. ---

I am so insulted by this video!. How dare they generalize about women like that. Not all of us are sensitive earth mothers in touch with our feelings. Some of us do use data and rational thinking to make decisions. Women can also be aggressive and confrontational. I don’t want to be worshiped and revered for some stupid feminine energy. I want people to acknowledge that I am an intelligent person with a scientific mind that can be just as explotative and condescending as any man. Grrrr…HATEHATEHATEHATEHATE HATE. (Disclaimer: I tried 3 times but only managed to get through about 30 seconds total before having to get up and hit something) ---
