> Just thought of another cross-channel connection: Sara Martins, who played Camille, also had a small part in the French language version of Maigret, with Bruno Crémer.

Sara Martins works mostly in France, where she is a well-established actress. But since her turn in _Death in Paradise_ she has taken a few more English-speaking roles in UK or US productions.

Concidentally, Élizabeth Bourgine, who plays the mother of Sara Martin’s character in _Death in Paradise_, has also appeared in a Maigret adaptation - _Maigret_ (2022), where she plays opposite Gérard Depardieu.
