As long as the work the prisoner does is calculated to pay for their room and board and no more. And treating prisoners like shit serves no useful purpose. Lifers should have a bleak, minimal existence, time to think about their crime, those to be released should be genuinely rehabilitated rather than whipped like dogs. The reality is that punishment simply does not work. ---

Nope. I’m against the death penalty. Period. The only exception I would make is for people with join dates of Aug 2013 who start Pit threads in IMHO. ---

Give me a couple more days, I’ll probably find my compassion and humanity by then. Just don’t have any today. Little old ladies better stay out of my way when I’m driving home tonight. (med eval coming up next week–think I’ll be making some changes). ---
