I think that was over a decade ago.
Hawkeye killed at least two people in the 80s (Egghead and Silencer) right before going all self-righteous on his wife Mockingbird for killing someone who’d raped her. It’s a shame when comics writers don’t bother reading each other’s work.
Both of those were accidents, I believe; Egghead certainly was.

Nemesis Kid had the power to reproduce any other superpowered being’s abilities, only at a slightly higher level. He out-fought Karate Kid, then Karate Kid sacrificed himself stopping one of Nemesis Kid’s evil plans.
When Projectra came at him, Nemesis Kid taunted her, saying he’d be able to match any of her mental powers easily. She said she would never use her powers to execute a criminal, and just reached out and snapped his neck. He had no defense against her merely-human rage.
Googling to check my facts seems to indicate they got rebooted and now Karate Kid’s alive in the 20th century, but Projectra is dead in the 30th. Comics are so hard to follow…
Actually, Nemesis Kid had the power to develop exactly the power or skill he needed to counter a given opponant’s abilities. I think in Val’s case it was just more skill at the Martial Arts. In Jeckie’s case it was mental hardening against her illusions.

The Val in the 20th century was the same one that Nemisis Kid killed - he’d spent time there as part of convincing Jeckie’s father he was worthy of marrying her.
They’re both alive and well in the 30th century, currently (although Orando was recently destroyed, killing all Orandi save Projectra) - and both were alive and well in the 30th century as of the end of the post-ZH continuity.
Rogue put her first kiss, Cody Robbins, into a coma for the rest of his life. She absorbed Carol Danvers mind and powers permanently.
