I feel that “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” was a precursor to Reality TV.

He was on _ **Who Wants to be a Millionaire?** _ not too long ago (the dumbed down one for Americans).

That was a pretty big show for its time, but I don’t remember any real buzz about the man, which I find a bit surprising. (Vanna White has, what, four books?) He was the ideal MC; keep the show running, never overshadow it.

Thought the voice was a bit much, but compared to what we have NOW, he was Ben freaking Stein.
