> I already told you why. Homeland Security is a false-flag operation giving deep cover to UN armies in our National Parks, who plan to use handgun ammunition, black helicopters, and our precious bodily fluids to enslave Americans in FEMA-run environmentally friendly concentration camps which are going to make Christians loose their citizenship. This is all going to begin when the UN armies roll into key voting districts identified by ACORN, which was really an intelligence operation run by Hugo Chavez, which was exposed by James O’Keefe in his explosive 2009 videos.

look guys all I am saying is this. Dont take things as you hear on the national media, which are all owned by the filthy rich.

do some research on your own.

liberals rarely do, in fact, I have not come across one who has, unless it was all on moveon dot org

I try to get my info from dot gov sites or sites who dont sound like they are taking a particular side or sometimes from the opposing side, such as the liberal NY times.

Well, isn’t that nice. I’m starting to think that Mrs. Lot had the right idea.

There’s little to no evidence that any of what you or your bible claimed happened in the distant past and its claims about the future are laughably nonspecific.

Question, when russia was trying to get into the world trade organization, why did the EU tell them, in order for the EU to support Russias bit to join the WTO, Russia would have to:

1. Speed up their ratification of the Kyoto accord on global warming

2. Increase their domestic gas prices…

They were also reminded that Russia stood to gain 20 - 28 billion annually from the sale of their unused carbon credits.
Who would be paying them for those carbon credits? (US business)

Why should they increase doomestic gas prices?
try doing some research and find your own answers. It happened and I ask WHY

> problem is I was healed instantly and specifically immediately following prayer. I also know when a christian prays for patience all hell breaks loose in their lives…WHY

Because sometimes random shit happens. Most illnesses end. Some cancers go into remission. This doesn’t happen to Christians any more than it does to Hindus or atheists. Pointing at a random happening as evidence is silly. You need to look at patterns.

People have always had problems. It doesn’t take divine insight to understand that people will have problems.

They certainly don’t prove themselves true. At least not in any way that the primitive men who wrote the bible wouldn’t have known about.

> you believe more in miracles that I do if you believe in evolution…

Evolution has been demonstrated as scientific fact. We can literally watch it happen in short lived organisms. Why do you think you need a different flu shot every year?

There are a hundred billion galaxies with a hundred billion stars each in the observable universe. Only a planet with the conditions for life would have people arguing on the internet.

Also, the habitable zone of our star is fairly wide. [Habitable zone - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habitable_zone)

Random, right after praying for patience and it always happens. Those who are not christains have not idea. There is a spiritual battle going on here and it takes being on the battlefield, for satan to take notice of you. Those who are lost, not christians, Satan is not worried about, becasue he already has you.

Seriously? You come on here spouting off about how you know more than all the climate scientists put together, that the KJV Bible is the best version, and how you were healed instantly after you prayed to you god, and then you tell us to do some research on our own?

No.

You dragged a dead thread out of it’s tomb and started spraying idiocy around the place like you just bought it. Hows about you put that huge brush down you’ve been using to paint everything and everyone who doesn’t think the same as you as ignorant/liberal/commie and any other word you think is bad. You’ve been shotgun posting about a whole heap of crap and have barely even tried to back any of it up, instead just calling people who disagree with you ignorant/liberal/commie/etc.

You wanna declare god exists? Lets see some of that there evidence. The real kind, not the ‘anecdote = data’ kind.

You wanna declare global warming bs? Again, we’re going to need a bit more than just ‘there was there really hot day back a long time ago so there’.

You wanna declare the big bang theory and evolution bs? Once again, more evidence, less soapboxing.

Of course, if you’re just proselytizing then say so, and we’ll let you get on with the gibbering without any further ado.

Loboahn,
here is one for you. I gave one of my dogs to God, to sell for paying off a church building. My best puppy, full sister to Best in Show Russian champion, AKC #9 female in the US, and International champion in portugal. Her siblings were tearing it up. I gave him my best. Put her out for sale, was there 10 weeks, a lady who had wanted to by her, but every time she tried, had to spend the money on broke down cars and the like, she told me I had the best puppy out there on the website and I was asking to little for her, that I should be asking more. I told her what I was doing and that God likes to do the odd, essentially, and that maybe God wanted me to raise the price, so I raised the price by $700 and she sold in 10 days, then by circumstances he gave her back to me in trade for a lesser quality dog, even though I told the person she was the best. I gave God my best and he gave her back to me, then caused her to have three babies, one we sold for $3000 and the second won Best of opposite sex in her breed specialty. YOu cant out give God, but you have to know Him first.

your denial of facts are meaningless.

Global warming, google record high temp history

take not of the dates
You obviously didnt read all the evidence I posted about the past storms compared to the so-called bigger stronger storms of today. their so called facts are not supported by history. You can stick you head in the sand if you want, and refuse to do any research on your own like all liberals refuse to do. It is up to you.

But they are using these lies to bring down the economies of the world and you just sit back and blame bush. easy that way
but he didnt set fannie mae up to give bad loans, clinton did, and then the liberal controlled house and senate bailed out the banks allowing hughe bonus’s while we the people lost homes, that the banks got…HELLO

I believe, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 also known as the the Deficit Reduction Act of 1993 was passed _without a single Republican vote_. IIRC, Al Gore’s vote was the tie-breaking vote in the Senate, with Republican after Republican spouting that the Clinton budget would result in economic disaster and decimate small businesses

[THE BUDGET STRUGGLE; CLINTON WINS APPROVAL OF HIS BUDGET PLAN AS GORE VOTES TO BREAK SENATE DEADLOCK](http://www.nytimes.com/1993/08/07/us/budget-struggle-clinton-wins-approval-his-budget-plan-gore-votes-break-senate.html?pagewanted=all&src=pm)

> An identical version of the $496 billion deficit-cutting measure was approved Thursday night by the House, 218 to 216. The Senate was divided 50 to 50 before Mr. Gore voted. Since tie votes in the House mean defeat, the bill would have failed if even one representative or one senator who voted with the President had switched sides.
>
> The official final vote in the 100-member Senate was an oddity, 51 to 50.
>
> Wrapping up the debate with about half the senators in their seats, Senator Jim Sasser of Tennessee, chairman of the Budget Committee, called the President’s plan “a watershed in American fiscal history.”
>
> George J. Mitchell of Maine, the Democratic leader, declared: “The American people want change. They voted for change last year. And tonight we’re going to deliver change. President Clinton has given us a fair plan. I say it’s fair to give him a chance.”
>
> But Senator Pete V. Domenici of New Mexico, the top Republican on the Budget Committee, said the increased taxes in the program would devastate the economy. Senator Bob Dole of Kansas, the Republican leader, said the main flaw in the plan was that the tax increases would be retroactive to the first of this year, while most of the spending cuts would occur after the next election.

New York City struck on September 3, 1821
Monday, Oct 29, 2012 | Updated 9:17 PM EST

Waves striking a seawall during a hurricane in 1938.
With Hurricane Sandy heading north towards the tri-state area, here is a look back at major storms that have slammed us in the past.
1821 HURRICANE
One of the only hurricanes believed to have passed directly over parts of modern New York City made landfall on Sept. 3, 1821. In one hour the tide rose 13 feet and inundated wharves, causing the East River to meet the Hudson River across lower Manhattan as far north as Canal Street. Because flooding was concentrated in neighborhoods with far fewer homes than exist today few deaths were attributed to the storm.
1893 HURRICANE
A Category 1 hurricane destroyed Hog Island, a resort island off the Rockaways in southern Queens in 1893.
1938 HURRICANE
In 1938, the eye of a Category 3 hurricane crossed over Long Island and into New England, killing nearly 200 people. The storm caused millions of dollars in damage and killed 10 people in New York City. Floods knocked out electrical power in the Bronx and above 59th Street in Manhattan. The IND subway line lost power, and 100 large trees were destroyed in Central Park. New York City experienced the weaker side of the hurricane, which could have caused far more deaths and damage if it passed closer to the five boroughs.
1954, CAROL
Hurricane Carol made landfall in eastern Long Island and southeastern Connecticut in 1954. It was the most destructive hurricane to hit the northeast coast since 1938, with sustained winds over 100 mph and gusts of 115 to 125 mph Though the storm’s track was 40 miles east of the five boroughs, major flooding occurred throughout the city.
1960, DONNA
Hurricane Donna created an 11-foot storm tide in the New York Harbor in 1960, causing extensive pier damage.
1955, CONNIE & DIANE
In August 1955, rains from hurricanes Diane and Connie caused significant flooding in the city, even though the eye of those storms did not cross over any of the five boroughs. More than 200 deaths in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey were caused by Diane. At LaGuardia Airport Connie dropped more than 12 inches of rain.
1972, AGNES
Tropical Storm Agnes combined with another storm system in June 1972, flooding areas from North Carolina to New York state and causing 122 deaths and more than $6 billion in damage, when adjusted for inflation.
1985, GLORIA
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said that Hurricane Gloria in 1985 could have been catastrophic had it been a little closer to the city and arrived at high tide. The catefory 3 hurricane first hit North Carolina and caused devistation along the east coast. Though downgraded to a category 1 hurricane by the time it reached Long Island, the storm left serious damage on the island.
1995, FELIX
In 1995, Hurricane Felix lingered near the East Coast for nearly a week in 1995, menacing the Northeast.
1996, BERTHA
Tropical Storm Bertha brought heavy rain to the city in July 1996.
1996, EDOUARD
After moving toward New York City around Labor Day in 1996, Hurricane Edouard veered out to sea.
1999, FLOYD
Tropical Storm Floyd brought sustained 60 mph winds and dumped 10 to 15 inches of rain in parts of New Jersey and New York state over a 24-hour period in September 1999. Flash flooding forced hundreds of people to leave their homes in counties just outside the five boroughs. New York City schools closed for the first time since 1996 and the city opened emergency storm shelters as a precautionary measure.
2011, IRENE
Hurricane Irene was downgraded to a tropical storm just before it made landfall in New York City in August 2011. The city issued the first-ever mandatory evacuation of coastal areas, an evacuation that encompassed 370,000 residents living in evacuation zone A, the entire Rockaway Peninsula, and 34 health care facilities located in evacuation zone B. The city provided shelter for 10,000 evacuees. Up to 7inches of rain fell across the city, with winds of 65 mph. The storm cost the city an estimated $100 million in damages and more than 8,000 residents were approved for $13.6 million in federal disaster assistance.

I’d just like to point out that quite a few of those dates happen 17,000 years in the future, so I don’t count that as evidence against global warming.

> Well, I guess that settles the existence of God question.

AS I said earlier, you believe more in miracles than I do. If you think all that was just chance, that is a miracle.

another thing is all my other dogs were not producing all the way thru the year, then in December, last month God used the one dog that I had given Him to bless me. Before her, we had only produced one puppy the entire year. You see, satan trys to discourage, but God runs on faith, and He always sees us through and blesses those who trust in Him.

More storm evidence from History

figures are big, round, inflation-adjusted estimates.

1. Galveston, 1900
The most deadly U.S. hurricane by far hit Galveston, Texas in 1900, killing more than 6,000 (a quarter of the island’s population) and leveling nearly every structure on the island with a 15-foot storm surge and 120 mph winds. Adjusted for inflation, the Galveston storm caused upwards of $100 billion in damage. The most tragic tale from the storm concerned an orphanage run by the Sisters of Charity, where more than 90 children and 10 sisters perished. Some of the nuns were found dead after being washed far out into Galveston Bay; they were still clasping the bodies of the drowned children they had lashed to themselves for safety.

2. Miami, 1926
More damaging to property was the storm that hit Miami, Florida in September 1926. Nearly every building in downtown Miami was damaged or destroyed by winds or the 15-foot storm surge. Many of the 400 killed perished when they ventured out during the lull that came as the eye passed over Miami, only to be caught unprotected when the ferocity returned. Researchers figure that if the same storm hit Miami today the damage totals would top $160 billion.

3. Katrina, 2005
Giving that storm a run for its money is 2005′s Katrina. Surging waters from the Gulf of Mexico broke through the levies protecting New Orleans, killing some 2,000 people and causing an estimated $100 billion in direct damage. Add in the tens of billions more spent to reinforce the New Orleans levy system since then, and Katrina could qualify as the most damaging storm ever.

4. Andrew, 1992
In 1992 Hurricane Andrew decimated Florida like a nuclear bomb, its 140 mph winds and 17-foot storm surge demolishing more than 100,000 homes in Miami-Dade County and killing 26. It caused the equivalent of more than $55 billion in damage. In the Everglades, Andrew flattened 70,000 acres.

5. Long Island Express, 1938
The worst hurricane to hit the eastern seaboard in modern times was the September 1938 monster known as the Long Island Express. The storm roared up the east coast with a forward speed of 70 mph, winds gusting to 120 mph and a 10-foot storm surge that slammed into Long Island. Because the storm was moving north so quickly residents had little warning. A Long Island movie theater, with 21 still inside, was lifted off its foundation and tumbled two miles out to sea. All inside died. The storm killed 600 across New York and New England, knocked down 2 billion trees and caused about $40 billion in inflation-adjusted damage.

6. Ike, 2008
Hurricane Ike roared into Galveston, Texas in September 2008 with winds of 100 mph. It killed more than 100 in the U.S. and devastated the coastline from Corpus Christi all the way to the Florida panhandle. At one point Ike was more t han 600 miles in diameter. Galveston was decimated, with many buildings washed away and dozens killed. Electric power in Houston was out for more than two weeks in many places (like my house). Total damage is estimated at $30 billion

7. Lake Okeechobee, 1928
The second-most deadly hurricane to hit the U.S. was the one that hit Lake Okeechobee, Florida in 1928. Residents thought it had passed and returned home to low-lying areas only to be inundated with a surge of wind-pushed water that covered some communities under 20 feet. Some 2,500 died, many of them farm workers. If the same storm hit today it would cause an estimated $35 billion in damage.

8. Camille, 1969

Camille hit near the mouth of the Mississippi River in September 1969 with wind speeds thought to be in excess of 200 mph. Her exact ferocity will never be known because she destroyed all wind instruments. Camille flatted the Mississippi coast and caused extensive flooding in the Appalachian Mountains. More than 250 died. Damage was about $20 billion in inflation-adjusted dollars.
9. Donna, 1960
NOAA calls Hurricane Donna of 1960, “one of the all-time great hurricanes.” She smashed up through Florida, reemerged into the Atlantic, then went ashore again in North Carolina, then skirted the coast before making a third landfall in Rhode Island. It killed 50 in the U.S. and caused $28 billion in inflation-adjusted damage.
10. Ash Wednesday Storm, 1962
The Ash Wednesday Storm of 1962 wasn’t a hurricane, but it has come to be known as one of the most destructive storms ever to hit the U.S. It is also known as the “Five High Storm” because it lingered off of New Jersey lashing the coast throughout three days and five high tides. It killed 40 and caused billions in damage in six states. In New Jersey 45,000 homes were seriously damaged. The boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach was destroyed
The worst effects of the 1962 storm were felt in the same place that Sandy is now coming ashore. In fact, on Sunday an advisory from the National Weather Service stated that Sandy could be worse.
“If you are reluctant to evacuate, and you know someone who rode out the ’62 storm on the Barrier Islands, ask them if they could do it again,” the bulletin said. “If you are reluctant, think about your loved ones, think about the emergency responders who will be unable to reach you when you make the panicked phone call to be rescued, think about the rescue/recovery teams who will rescue you if you are injured or recover your remains if you do not survive.”
It’s too late for coastal residents to run from Sandy now. Those riding out the storm now will have the cold comfort of knowing that they’ve had a front-row seat on meterological history. Let’s hope that as bad as it may get tonight, it’s not as bad as the last time a hurricane passed directly over New York City, in September 1821. According to an account from the New York Post, the storm was “throwing down chimnies, unroofing buildings, and prostrating trees in various directions. When the gale was at its height it presented a most awful spectacle. The falling of slate from the roofs of buildings, and broken glass from windows made it unsafe, for anyone to venture into the streets.”
Maybe in 300 years Sandy will be right up there in the books with the Great Colonial Hurricane of 1635 or the Great Gale of 1815
