Just a little thread for those of us who entered this world on a cold day in December. Mine’s not until December 6th, but I’ve always wanted to do a birthday thread. Question: How many Decembies had their birthday squished into Christmas? Mine never was, but most others I know of were. ---

Mine’s Dec. 3rd. It’s far enough from Christmas that there’s never been too much squishing. But my Sister’s b-day is the 2nd, so we always had to share a birthday party while growing up. ---

Mine is Dec 20th, I never get many Chrissie presents 'cos it’s to near Xmas itself. I wish my Mum and Dad would have exercised a little more self control and planned it better ---

Mine is the 15th. I never had parties growing up until June 15th…on my 1/2 bday. More stuff to do with friends and usually ended up with the party at the cottage. As a result, I got spoiled rotten on my birthday and usually took a couple of friends to McDonald Caboose, baby! Since adulthood, my birthday and family christmas party is always the Sunday before my birthday, and the gifts are squished into one non-bday, non-christmas gifts. ---

December 28, here. And I’ve never actually had the squishing problem - in fact just the opposite - as a kid I’d ask for something **really** big, to combine the two, and then clean up on my b-day as the parents felt bad that I didn’t have any presents for my birthday as well (okay, I milked it a little… 🙂 ) And then as college and such came around, it turned into a solid week of partying: Xmas, B-day, New Years. Generally didn’t really sober up until Jan. 3rd or so… Of course, there’s precious little time to party these days: work work work. KTM ---

I’m with **Pandora** on the 22nd. I’ve often got the combo gift. Now I don’t mind ('cause it usually means a cool BIG gift) but I hated it as a kid. ---

December 18 here. I get the squishing thing from a few friends, but mainly my family keeps them seperate. Doesn’t matter to me, but if it’s a birthday present it better not have Christmas wrapping paper on it. I know it’s trivial but that kind of squishing annoys me. ---

18th here 🙂 I share a birthdate with: **Brad Pitt** – I wish I looked anything like him, but, Jen, if you’re lurking, I’d **really** like to spend an evening with him sometime 😉 **Steven Spielberg** – I wish I had one iota of his talent. **Keith Richards** – I’m probably most like him, though my drug of choice is food, and I’ve never burned down my house, though I did come close once :rolleyes: And since I’m Jewish, Christmas was never a major problem, though people generally only remember I have a birthday after the fact.
