I played Oberon in a high school production of _A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream_! In her first appearance in _The Marvelous Land of Oz_, Ozma spends all but the last chapter or two under the spell of the wicked witch Mombi, who has transformed her into… a boy (known as Tippetarius, or Tip for short). Glinda figures out how to reverse the spell. ---
