# december: can you diversify a little?

I’m fairly new to these boards, and so far december is the only poster i sort of ‘recognise’.
You know where you are with december, he seems to be a straightforward reliable sort of guy. You can count on december - every time i visit the boards there’ll be another GD thread started by him along the lines of Democrats/Europe/any non right wing type group worship satan, plot to overthrow world etc… Maybe i’m exagerating a little, but you know what i mean.
I also quite admire how he can stick to his beliefs in the face of some fairly hefty opposition, and keep on posting the same sort of things. All in all, he’s quite a character really.
Three cheers for december! Hip Hip Hooray!

I thought the point of this board was to _fight_ ignorance, not to perpetuate it.

We call some of those people assholes, some bigots, some homophobes, some racists, and some capital J jerks. **Jack Dean Tyler** was one, and **danielinthewolvesden** was another.

The thing about **december** , though, the thing that really _does_ separate him from the likes of JDT and DITWD is humour. I’ve never seen him go off the deep end - he’s far more likely to respond with something either a bit self-deprecating or jocular. His limericks are superb, as indeed are his subtitles. Have you never noticed how he prefaces so many of his posts with a punning title? Sometimes these titles are the best thing in the thread!
At the end of the day, if you can be as inclusive with your geniality as **december** is, you really can’t be that bad. He doesn’t just slap his supporters in the thread on the back - he recognises everybody. You may or may not agree with what he says. You may or may not like his actual debating style, or feel that he fails to address substantive issues or have some other complaint. But you have to recognise his friendliness and unwillingness to rise to some pretty hefty bait.
