New job and all I’ve been out of the SDMB loop for some time. I just saw that **December** has been banned. How did this happen? Can someone give me the details or link to them? ---

Yeah **cainxinth** , December was banned. But even after I read the “sticky” I couldn’t understand why December was banned. They got mad at me because I couldn’t understand. ---

The last straw was posting a quotation in Great Debates about Iraq that he attributed to GWB. In reality, the _quotation_ was a a combination of two different statements made at different times by Bill and Hillary Clinton. It was intentionally posted with a false attribution in order to draw comments, presumably disparaging, so that december could then turn around and do a “Gotcha!” While his previous posting practices had irritated a lot of people, this one was a classic troll. ---

…Interesting. My own political views never meshed with **December** ’s on just about any issue, but I always found him a generally polite if somewhat dogmatic person. It’s a shame he let his perspective skew his posting tactics to such an extreme as to merit a banning. Anyway, thanks for the heads up. ---
