The kicker is, everybody who responded seemingly had no issue at all understanding what he was saying! “So so true”, was one such response. Eh, I just wanted to sound smart. I have no goddamned clue. “People talk like they know what Trump does on daily basis.” Referring obliquely to people who are critical of Trump, maybe? “Then bump into Jesus at Starbucks on “Sunday”.” Uh… and they’re holier-than-thou Christian types who don’t bother to attend church? (No idea what the sneer quotes around “Sunday” mean, if anything.) “Me: Shoot fly don’t bother me.” I assume is supposed to be “Shoo fly, don’t bother me.” Meaning, I don’t want to hear about it? Or maybe I have it backwards, and he’s referring to ostensibly religious Trump supporters who ignore his peccadilloes and shenanigans. ---

Never forget what auto-correct and type-ahead aps can do to an already dicey comment from someone trying to post FB updates while driving. Or how eager some people are to post joke responses that make it SEEM that they understood the original post. ---

He loses me with the Jesus bit. It seems as if this is an expression or meme he might’ve picked up (probably in church) but it doesn’t register with me. And I don’t get how the random Jesus thing is ironically linked to possessing knowledge of Trump. Does this person have a habit of speaking like this? ---

The general sense I get is that the facebook poster is complaining about people who act like they know it all; that such people sound like they’re intimate with Trump’s thoughts just from what they see on TV and social media; that they know just how Jesus likes his coffee. I think the facebook poster would be happy if they all just got shooed away like annoying flies. (Or some other expression about shoo-flies?) ---

Between these types of Indecipherables and the Vaguebookers, I think Facebook has completed it’s devolution into becoming utterly worthless internet noise. For me, anyway. ---

I bet if you PM’d each of them to ask what they interpreted the comment to mean, you’d get some inconsistent replies. Possibly even an admission that they didn’t quite get it either. ---
