Declaring a State of Emergency (US)

I don’t believe that the SCOTUS would uphold such an action today. Not involving US citizens.

In my opinion, Korematsu is the second worst SCOTUS decision that is still theoretically in effect. (Buck would be the worst.)

And as others say, when context fails, rationalization picks up the slack.

Facts are stubborn things. Rationalization got nothing to do with it.

Oh, but it do!
When one conflates fact with excuse, well, that’s called rationalization.
