I am seriously considering revealing my known town result (although It might target that player) But given my early faux paux I am skiddish . If I am dead that person will be all but confirmed…. and probably killeded If I can be able to catch just one scummy scum I will be helping… No-one gives you a pony when your team wins…………. And they can’t take away your birthday if you die.(m there is almost always another game in town) ---

The immediate answer that comes to mind is any protective roles that may be in the game would have a new target. ---

So they’re either going to attack you for real if you have no doctor, or, they’ll attack me, or they’ll attack Skeezix assuming he’s not one of them. Or ShadowFacts if he’s not one of them, but I’m less sure about that. Anyone else only narrows the suspect list. If they leave me, and Skeezix, and you around, I THINK they’re in deep doo-doo. So if they go for your claimed scanee, and it is not me or Skeezix, then they leave folks alive who will be a big pain in the neck. This is just my opinion and may not be the case. Having them attack this scanee would actually be awesome from my perspective because I get to keep playing. That said I’d rather they didn’t have the chance. If you can wait until the last minute to reveal it, you should wait. Give them no time to switch their orders. If you’re REALLY confident you can survive the night, don’t reveal it at all; but it would actually be helpful to me if you did reveal it right before the end. So I know you did scan someone, probably. ---

Well, yes. The detective situation is such that you are effectively confirmed. I trust this has been hashed out thoroughly enough that we can just use it as an assumption? With the death of septimus, a godfather, any player you confirm as town is pretty much confirmed as well. Who else has claimed so far this game? A couple vanillas, you, SF, and Red. SF and Red are both on people’s suspect lists. If they’re town, scum are playing a razor’s edge game of how easily could they be lynched vs. how dangerous are they to scum. And if they’re scum, they’re not a target, obviously. A confirmed town would be nothing but a scum target. Hierarchy: Detective Confirmed townie (by detective or masonry) Claimed Power Roles Follow this and a Doctor will make acceptable, if ‘safe’ decisions in using their protective power. ---

Do you really want to know? Because I don’t agree with much. He’s obviously not the doc, paranoid or otherwise. That his reference to paranoid doc early on was the source of your certainty that there was one in the game just baffles me. The “PIS” is not PIS. Games around here have about 90% godfathers and 80% vigs, and the vigs usually don’t shoot blindly (night one vig kill would not be expected). Show me the timing of the vig mention and how it relates to the timing of Septimus’ claim. If it was prior, then maybe. He always acts like this, right down to the eye for rules details. The one time I’ve seen him as scum that I remember, he did not. The votes for Texcat may have saved SF. But it’s just as possible a scum SF was hiding in the wings waiting for whether he needed to charge up his votes at the last second. Having a scumbuddy run in and do it for him seems less than optimal strategy. As I’ve mentioned I am more suspicious of those who stood aside (choie, Mental Guy) than those who voted texcat during that period. Choosing double votes for Texcat over another useless vote on Septimus right at end of day (he voted three minutes prior to deadline IIRC) given that it _also_ saved SF? Maybe. Just maybe, if SF is also mafia. But if SF is not, I don’t think that voting townie Texcat would be the scum default behavior. I think Inner would have just locked in uselessly on Septimus, knowing the odds that anyone would push him ahead with so little time left were slim to none. In other words, on this poitn alone: – if Septimus and SF both scum, Inner possible, though problematic because of Shadow’s vote mechanic – if Septimus only is scum, I find it doubtful Now tell me what you think of Red in light of those comments of Septimus’ I posted. Remember Septimus was in no apparent danger when he wrote those. Red was the likeliest lynch by far. ---
