What are some of the ways of getting into the the deep web? How much of the internet does a search tool like Google search? I have been to Bright planet I beleive it is called. What other sites can I go to that will get me into the deep web?

Perhaps reading the Deep Web FAQ helps …

>
> The Deep-Web is content that resides in searchable databases, the results from which can only be discovered by a direct query. **Without the directed query, the database does not publish the result.** When queried, deep Web sites post their results as dynamic Web pages in real-time. Though these dynamic pages have a unique URL address that allows them to be retrieved again later, they are not persistent.

Seems to me you have to know more than a basic Google query to find what you want in the deep web. On top of that, having much better than average research/search skills are needed, too.

I suggest you read the FAQ in its entirety, as well as download “BrightPlanet’s comprehensive 41-page white paper.”

In short, it appears you not know have to know what you are looking for, but also know where to look! 😃
