# Deepest Brooklyn.  At 11:00 a.m.  On a Sunday.  Are you out of your fucking MIND?

One is not _required_ to drink alcohol at a brunch, but the bubbly concoction of champagne and orange juice is part of thedecadent pleasures of a Sunday brunch. I also eat bacon and whole eggs at brunch, something I never do at home.

Alcohol is nothing but empty calories, so I indulge infrequently these days to keep my waistline down. If you wish to extrapolate alcoholism from my comments, you’re going to have to do better than that.

One doesn ot have to have alcohol to have fun, but a glass of wine is more convivial than a glass of cold water. YM obviously V.

No alcoholism implied or intended, **gobear**. Your post merely got me to thinking, but I was addressing a larger issue, as I quite honestly do know people who _require_ alcohol to “have a good time,” and I find that disturbing.
