I don’t understand the confusion. The Republicans in the Senate are doing exactly what they said they would do-- block any legislation until the tax cut vote was accomplished and all the tax cuts were extended. That happened, and now they won’t block everything.

Who’s confused? I’m disgusted and revolted and repulsed and infuriated and frustrated, and I’m perfectly clear about it.
The Senate just passed it by unanimous consent. The Dems however had to agree to lower the cost from $7.4 billion over eight years to $4.3 billion over five years to placate that Oklahoman douchebag Tom Coburn, among others, who threatened to stall it.
