Every time I hear of somebody lying or suggesting a lie in a relationship I think of that episode of The Simpsons where Marge finds Homer’s gun (the one he promised he would get rid of) in the refrigerator. Homer: “But Marge, I swear, I never thought you’d find out!” ---
