Can you drive 12 hours or more and not leave the ZIP code?
Yes = Washington DC suburbs

(ok, ZIP code is an exaggeration. Area code, now…).

And I’ve got some counterexamples on the sate thing: Someone driving from Key West to Pensacola would likely take 12 hours (confirmed via Google Maps just now). Kootenai Falls, MT to Hammond, MT would also take 12 hours.

Sure. I guess they could ask “Can you drive in one direction for 12 hours and not leave the state?” I figure Alaska could change that to 24 hours since they could split into two states and make Texas the 3rd largest state.

Well you can still do that in any state, if you drive really slow. 😉

Regardless of what the movies show, Saguaro cacti only grow in the Sonoran desert of Arizona and Mexico.

There are federal and state regulations for “roundabouts” in California. Stockton CA also has regulations for “traffic circles”, which are different. I assume other cities do, too.

If you’re a kid, and your parents might be nearby, it’s “hecka”.

Do you call sections of temporary concrete dividers “k-rail”? California (not generally known)

When the constant call to cut the state in half (north from south) comes up, does someone make that tired joke about the diet states? California (No.Cal and Low Cal)
