Ah, yes. One day, **Rebo**. Doesn’t seem likely. I speak from experience. I’ll be lucky to be done with all my painting and renovating by next spring. :eek: Good luck with the first day back at work, **LiLi**! How many hours do you have to work? Hi **Soapy**! Here…have some chocolate. (It has hazelnuts and currants in it. Yum.) Dinner plans sound yum, **FCM**. Maybe I’ll come visit, too. 😃 ETA: Where’s **Muppet**? She said she’d be back this afternoon. And she’s supposed to get us started tomorrow… OK. I give up. Well, really, I gave up about an hour ago. I pulled weeds and put some branches out with the yard waste (forgot to do that last week) and then I decided I should chill. So I went out to get some ice cream and went for a bit of a walk. Now I’m watching Sabrina and surfing the net a bit. Should call Mom, too. Off to veg… Hugs. GT ---

OMG. I can’t move. Did I fail to mention the yummy banana bread I made for dessert? I managed to eat a half a slice. The damn dishes and food-puttin’-away can wait until I can move. See, **Swampy** , Mr Rebo failed to mud the new drywall around the door, so I don’t have to do that wall. I don’t know how to mud! 😉 But once I do the hallway and entry - I’ll bug him until he does mud it - and then he’ll paint it. Or I will. I don’t mind painting the walls so much - it’s the trim! And I’m not doing trim, so there! :: holds tummy and groans :: ---

Oh dear. **GT** said she was watching Sabrina so I decided to see if it was on TCM or something. Instead I found [Imitation of Life.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imitation_of_Life_(1959_film))One of my favorite movies, yet one of the saddest ones that I’ve ever seen. I don’t know if I can watch it today or not. ---

Note to self: don’t get sucked into the Crazy in the Pit. :smack: #1 son ran over #2 son’s bike tonight\*. Snapped the kickstand off and bent the back wheel badly. The bike is too small for #2 son, but I went over stuff with #1 son. He apologized to #2 son and promised to be more careful. With #1 son, one must be careful how hard one comes down–coming down too hard is counter-productive. He genuinely feels bad about it and offered to pay for the repair of the kickstand out of his own pocket. I swear, if I lived in a panic room, something would still happen every day here. \*he brushed it, really. He thought he had enough backing room. He didn’t. ---

I expect **Muppet** is prostrate with exhaustion and blisters. She walked nearly thirty miles this weekend. I’m going to be working eleven hours a week, 4-10 on Sundays, and 5-10 on Mondays. It’s not huge, I’ve just never left Nat alone that long with anyone before. ---

My mind out of the gutter? It’s been down there for years! One more day, and I get a break from work. _sigh_ Eight days! That’s at least three too many. This better not happen again. I’m doing better energy-wise than I thought I would, but I am so sick of being there. ---

I’m home. The prehensile recutm fairie( **N.O,F.** , I hope) paid the ladies room another visit. I’m taking a staycation this week. I stopped at Wally World for some beer, TP, and a few other minor items(food). The bill was $138. You can mentally allocate that how you wish. I bought a waterproof mattress pad to thwart the Mad Pisser. Dinner is Bachelor Meal with garlic, spinach, and sundried tomatoes. **Mama Tigs** , I thought a foot was 12 inches on either coast. : d&r : **Spaz** , do you want me to pick up a FUBAR and beat some sense into CR? Good luck on your first day back, **LiLi** - perhaps Mr Lissar and Nat will manage somehow? **Doggio** , you’re never having a proper honest break from work, are you? How will they cope without you? I am continuing to impress SNB and faffing about putting things right that she did a bit wrong and forgot to tell me about. I went for a wander down the hill at lunchtime and bumped into someone I shared an office with - she told me that TK still has Paul working for her and she’s getting help from Mark as well. Knowing how much she dislikes having men working for her, it’s no surprise to hear that she never goes into the office herself and all work is delivered via Assistant Stuck Up Twunt. It’s good to know that things don’t change, isn’t it? ---
