Awww, **Haze** , Iā€™m sorry to see you take a break. :(:(ā˜¹ I expect to see lots of updates on GoodReads, young lady! I stopped venturing into the Pit over the weekend once more and more threads started to be cruel/pointless. (I seldom go into the Pit on normal days, but initially found the free-for-all kind of interesting.) **McUne** gave me access to add recipes to the blog. Weā€™re still figuring out how to coordinate so that we arenā€™t trying to add something that the other already added. Iā€™m going to make my inaugural attempt to add a recipe with **Dottyā€™s** camel recipe. Because, really, how many blogs have recipes for camel??? I think there was a recipe somewhere in last weekā€™s MMP that still needed to be added too. Maybe from **Rebo**? **taz** ā€¦thatā€™s right. Cuz you really do remind us of the Tazmanian Devil cartoon character. **FCM** , did you name your cat after **gene**? šŸ˜ƒ **Smartie** , your move-in account left me speechless. There are certain people who are simply beyond my understanding. I started my junior year of college in the fall of '78. In the pleasant political news coverage discovery department (Iā€™ll bet you didnā€™t know that was an actual department): [Dave Barry has covered both party conventions.](http://www.miamiherald.com/living/columnists/dave-barry/story/670487.html) He makes juvenile jokes about everyone. Had to lead a meeting from 9:00-2:00 (more or less). Most of the time was me going ā€œbla bla blaā€ because the point was to make sure everyone had the same understanding of the process weā€™re going to be working on. **Navaā€™s** meeting sounded familiar, except that we didnā€™t have redundant diagrams. Iā€™ve had rice with melted cheese. Now Iā€™m going to harvest a couple of tomatoes. Yum. And then maybe Iā€™ll do something productive-ish. Is it FIRDAY yet? GT ---

Yet another attempt to post.:mad::mad::mad: This is ridiculous! I attempted earlier but it didnā€™t make it, so Iā€™ll try to summarize. **dotty** and here I was thinkinā€™ I needed sumpā€™n different for Thanksgiving this year.šŸ˜ƒ That recipe sounds like it might feed about a dozen folks. **gene** maybe itā€™s your puter thatā€™s over caffienated. **{{{Haze}}}** awwwwwwwā€¦ just donā€™t stay away too long young lady. **soapy** you want the bear pic to show up at least once a week? Thatā€™s either intriguinā€™ or weird. Either way, I like it!šŸ˜ƒ **Mindude** sounds like a fun trip. I didnā€™t click on any of the pics cause I didnā€™t want to chance this attempt to post. Iā€™ll look later. I promise. I had a chat with AT&T today. I called to get rid of some features I donā€™t use like \*69, three-way callinā€™, call forward and a couple others I donā€™t remember right now. Of course they kept tryinā€™ to talk me out of it. I mentioned that I could go discuss this with a couple of their competitors. Lo and Behold! Not only did I get what I wanted, but I now have free long distance calling (within the U.S.) and their super duper deluxe whoopie doo dsl. Andā€¦ itā€™s three bucks less a month! Amazinā€™ what the mention of competitors will do for ya! Ok, here we goā€¦ will it post? ---

**Haze,** sweetie, I hate to see you go, but weā€™re all here if you decide to come back. Iā€™ll miss you. I was 14 in 1978. I remember **Tazā€™s** frenetic posting style. Maybe his kids will tire him out a little so he wonā€™t be so over-caffienated.šŸ˜‰ Work seemed incredibly long. Thank goodness I only have two more days left in the work week. The free for all in the pit was interestingā€¦for about a minute. Then it just got too out of hand. I donā€™t venture there often either, and Iā€™m sorry I did over the weekend. I donā€™t like it when people are mean to each other anyway. I should get dinner going. Iā€™m not hungry, but it needs to be done. My son started 10th grade today. Heā€™s currently upstairs napping. He liked his classes, so thatā€™s a good thing. Weā€™ll see what he really thinks when he gets a little more settled in the classes. ---

My youngest child turned a year old in 1978 when I was 19ā€“do I win? Nice Wordle, **DoRe,** but you forgot to put ā€œFUCKEDā€ in the middle of itā€“why no, Iā€™m not having any timeout errors, nor are my attempts to post resulting in a blank white page, why do you ask? :dubious: Spankingly fabulous pics, **Mork,** heartfelt golf clap! Iā€™m sending ā€œrain rain go awayā€ thoughts your way, **bobbio!** Iā€™m terribly tired but canā€™t seem to fall asleep tonight for some odd reason. Had a recurrence of the migraine so Himself worked on massaging out my shoulder and neck for a full 90 minutes, aaaahhhhā€¦ The man has fabulous hands! I was too tired to cope with dinner so it was Taco Hell all the way, w00t! Darn it, I meant to text the Grandboy earlier to see how his first day of school went but I forgot and now itā€™s too lateā€“heā€™d better be in bed! One thing: The night shift here has been way too quiet for the past two months. Once this place settles down Iā€™m going to resume full-time troublemaker responsibilities. ---

Silent MMP no one to talk to, play with, and there is no pie. I was turning 18 and graduating high school, moving into my own first little house while working as an operator for GTE, running around in my fast awesome car ('67 Impala, man) and being young and hot in 1978. My friends and I were smart, for we had the sense to know to call the time as it was happening the G.O.D.'s. (Good Old Days) I am feeling quite humbled by the comments regarding my latest couple of photos, thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. I will remember your words when I am feeling all old and mungy. Just more Tea and the kids, what more can I say about the most beautiful and perfect child ever? Even when sheā€™s cranky she fills my soul with light. Still taking pain meds and keflex for the root canal. Man, itā€™s all sore up in there, even my eye socket feels tender. I do not like dentistry, especially in my mouth! Goofy from pain meds, gonna read some and then hit the hay. Ta! ---
