The way I heard it, the leeching was part of her punishment. When she’s done, I understand they’ll let her remove the dress with the big red “A” on it. ---

To be fair, leeches are used for [legitimate medical purposes](http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3689/is_199911/ai_n8854739). Reattached limbs are frequently leeched to stimulate blood flow. These leeches are raised in sterile conditions - thus “medical” leeches. Damn shame these useful little suckers are being wasted. ---
