Apologies if this isn’t appropriate or interesting. I don’t have anyone to listen to my songs and it would just be nice to share something - even a dirty old demo recorded on my phone. Stars had to align just for that to happen, so obviously it’s quite rough. This song is like a weird fever dream featuring Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan and Najwa Zebian. Lyrics are embedded in the MP3. If you right-click on the song in the OP and select “Copy audio address”, then open a new tab or window in your browser and paste the address in the address bar, you can play the song. Nice song, by the way. Thanks for sharing it. ---

Cool tune, but I’ve never been a fan of the Bob Dylan style of singing slightly off key. ---

I’d have put an intro in there, and maybe an instrumental break, but that would just be my meddling. Nice song. ETA: The birds in the background were a little distracting at first, but they kind of blended in nice toward the end. ---

Thanks, scabpicker. It was one of my first times playing it through so obviously it lacks a lot of nuance. Just wanted something recorded to hear how it flows. I partially agree about the instrumental break, but I can’t think of where to put it where it wouldn’t disrupt the song. I don’t like adding things for the sake of it. Maybe it would change if I had a band or decent recording equipment so I could double track stuff.
