The Lion looks pretty good. I thought it was supposedly touch and go whether he’d be able to show up. I thought he might just wave weakly from the crowd, but it looks like he strapped it on for tonight. Good for him. ---

I’m not afraid to say it was emotional…especially the shot of the back of his head…shaved. Basically, bottom line - \> Elect Barack Obama. May be the last thing the Lion gets across. ---

What a dick move for McCain to run attack ads during the Democratic Convention. That’s not normally done, is it? I don’t remember a candidate trying so hard to step on his opponent’s Convention as what McCain is doing. Isn’t there usually a sort of mutual courtesy that goes on during these things? ---

[/QUOTE] Obama was smart. The party out of power has their convention first. Rather than go in July right before the Olympics, Obama waited until after the Olympics. All those swiftboat ads in 2004 happened in that period between the conventions. McCain is pathetic. ---

LOL, just odd to see R-Iowa during the Democratic convention. Lieberman will have to deal with the I label since he isn’t part of the Democratic party. ---

Brilliant plan to have Hillary nominated and have her delegates vote for her before breaking for a unanimous call for Obama. Shows the respect those PUMAs claim they want and then, everybody behind the nominee. ---

Not necessarily. There are a lot of protesters there, such as (self-proclaimed) Communists and anti-war activists (some of whom are led by Cindy Sheehan). ---
