First: I’ve noted and considered the comments concerning the poll structure; specifically consolidating this round into a single multi-choice poll, relying on the respondents to choose the proper set of 4 responses. Thanks for your concern, but we’ll plow ahead with 4 separate polls for this round.

Interesting results from the round of 16.

North Region 1: Joe Biden 52, Bernie Sanders 21. In hindsight, I feel badly about getting Bernie a #4 seed. But seeing how lopsided this match-up turned out, perhaps it wouldn’t have mattered.

North Region 2: Kirstin Gillibrand 41, Pete Buttigieg 25. Bummed about Pete.

So it will be Biden/Gillibrand in the North final.

South Region 1: Kamala Harris 52, Eric Holder 13.  
South Region 2: Amy Klobuchar 36, Cory Booker 29.

Harris/Klobuchar in the South final.

East Region 1: Beto O’Rourke 54, Tulsi Gabbard 8. A walk-over.  
East Region 2: Hickenlooper 45, Terry McAuliffe 14.

O’Rourke/Hickenlooper in the East final.

West Region 1: Julian Castro 47, Mike Bloomberg 11  
West Region 2: Sherrod Brown 35, Elizabeth Warren 34. Shocking. Hopefully Liz will get picked up as Veep.
