Democrats trying to skew another election?

You misspelled “this”. Your, um, source is a leftist lunatic. Congress could balance a budget by cutting pork alone. If I ran my books like they do, my bank would sue me.

Well, do you dispute any of its claims?

Yes, I just did. Only a leftist hack could interpret optimism as a bad thing, and then use it to excuse wreckless spending. Criminey.

I’m sorry about the unfortunate mistake of selecting your mother for my example given your circumstances, but 2 things, no 3: (1) I’m not psychic, (2) I said nothing bad about your mother, and (3) If I have to walk on glass for you to like me, then don’t.

“If I mug your mother”, maybe I took it wrong, sounded like you mentioned my mom. Still a little sensitive about it. But I’m pretty well into my cups so I’ll let it go.

What I was mentioning is that Bush is supposedly of the fiscal philosophy that you do not rob Peter to pay Paul. He is supposed to favor private charity over government money grabs and redistribution. People who taunt the Demublicans about big government and wasteful spending ought to give equal time to the Republicrats.

Please tell me you’re a fan of Mike Savage. That will make my day.

First off, I don’t recall claiming that Bush ran some super campaign. Just because one ran a bad one doesn’t automatically make the other one good. I’ll say it again and again, GORE RAN A HORRIBLE CAMPAIGN. He lost his home state for godsakes, which is pretty pathetic in my book.

I liken it to a basketball game, which we’ll say that the red team won in overtime by a blown call. The blue team is bitching about how the refs cost them the game, which is silly because they put themselves in the position where something like that could make a difference. If they had busted ass and been up by 20, there wouldn’t be an OT, and a blown call wouldn’t have made a difference.

I’m talking about any asshat that thinks Nadar is responsible for the situation we find ourselves in today, because he cost Gore the election.

You people know who you are.

True enough. But taking home far more than half of the popular vote isn’t bad. As for him losing his home state, so what? It’s a little unusual, but considering he comes from a pretty conservative state to begin with, it’s certainly not out of the question.

Do you doubt that had Nader not run, Gore would have won?

I do not know the gentleman.

Far more? They literally split it down the middle, it was about as close as possible. You consider 50-50 not bad? I’d consider 60-40 not bad, 70-30 good, and 80-20 you’re the fucking man. 50-50 is shitty btw, least in my book.

Nader is 1 of 5,964 reasons Gore didn’t win, how’s that?

Let me try this again.

I haven’t looked at the numbers, but sure it’s possible, maybe even likely. You know what I say? I say so what? What’s the alternative for next time? Make Nader or someone else not run? No run a better campaign next time, connect with the people better, etc.

The more people that run, of course it’s going to eat into other peoples votes, isn’t that the damn point?

Um, yeah. I already said as much. Are you really this fucking dense, or just drunk?

Read my post. You remember, the one that you are allegedly responding to? No, wait, maybe I’m being unfair. So, I’ll repost precisely what was posted previously:

And:

Now, if you are so full of shit that you think that there is no hyperbole involved in either of the above, well, then there’s probably not a whole hell of a lot to be done with you. If, however, you are intellectually honest enough to recognize hyperbole when it is pointed out to you (twice) then what the fuck are you on about?

Y’know, someone (hell, anyone) who uses NewsMax as a source and refers to the vomit that issues forth from same as “reporting” no doubt thinks that a rolleyes smiley is the height of wit and condescension. So you just go right ahead and use that cute l’il feller, you scamp, you. In the meantime, learning the difference between absolute crap and news will probably fill your days.

For the life of me, I can’t remember you. And if, as you claim, you semi-respected anything that issued forth from me, then you weren’t paying any attention whatsoever. Also, if you really wanted to offend, you woulda told me to fuck myself thrice. Telling someone to fuck themselves only once is really quite pitiable, and twice is trite. Watch and learn, Jasper.

The number would be 97,000 votes for Nader in Florida. If a mere 1% of those had gone to Gore, we’d be looking at a very different presidency right now.

Does this mean that we should make Nader not run? No. But Nader himself should consider the impact that he will have on the election. In short, he’s merely helping Bush.

Not to downplay your point, because I agree with most of it, but I have to ask what’s with this dismissal of a Presidential candidate just because he isn’t “entertaining” or “charismatic” enough? For me, voting for a President means choosing the person who you think will do the best job of guiding the nation and making the best decisions; dinking a genius just because he looks like Stephen Hawking is shallow superficiality, IMO.

People should vote for whoever they want to vote, that will always be more important the who gets fucked up because of it.

Well Kerry is helping Bush too, by running a weak ass campaign and being a flimsy, flip flopping bore. If people like Nader, let them vote for Nader. If the Democratic candidate can’t overcome some thorn in his side, then he deserves to lose.

I really hate this a vote for X is really a vote for Y bullshit. First off, it insults the people who really believe in X’s message and actually want to vote for X, and second, it scares people off from what they really wanted to do.

Also, lets not forget that some groups of Dems in the Milwaukee area were caught on local news video bying votes for Gore with cigarettes and coffee and donuts. I can only imagine that it only happened once and only happened in Milwaukee.

The overseas votes were illegal. A technicality, sure, but de law is de law. The Dumbocrats pointed it out, correctly. They should not have been counted. The Pubbies went into full bloviation mode, flowing the tears crockidilian, weeping and gnashing thier teeth in the highest dudgeon, utterly bereft that America’s Heroes were being denied thier vote by the dastardly, unpatriotic, flag-burning Dems. That those votes were reliably Republican had nothing, nothing to do with their principled stand, we are assured.

And the Dumbocrats caved. Wimped out, sniveled and crept away, tail tucked.

But here’s the thing: it made no difference whether or not GoreCo pressed the case or not. The ballots were still illegal. The Dems were not privileged to offer a pass, it was not their decision to make. Sentimental Bushwah, whether patriotic, political, and/or entirely hypocritical, has no bearing on the matter. Or at least, ought not.

Do you have a cite for this? A quick search with Google turned up nothing, except for a right-wing blog repeating the story but without any links for verification.

you cannot be this fucking stupid. For the 3rd time, asswipe, I had*** THREE *** cites in the OP. Go fuck yourself, and please do so without breeding. You twat.
