I’m also rather partial to Senator Feingold. I doubt he’d ever get the nomination, and I also have doubts as to whether he’d even want it. He spoke at my dorm 3 years ago, and although he acknowledged that “every Senator looks in the mirror and sees a future President,” he’s very happy in the Senate. ---

From a Wisconsin TV station web site 01/09/03: Feingold, D-Wis., also said he probably won’t run for president in 2004 but would put off a decision until his 50th birthday March 2. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. ---

Hillary Clinton. The Democrats have no chance of winning, much like 1964, 1972, and 1984, so they might as well nominate her, then let Gore run against Frist in 2008. ---
