My dentist informed me I have been grinding my teeth (I do it while sleeping) and I need to get a nightguard to protect them from wearing down. My only concern is that I won’t be able to sleep with a mouthguard. Does anyone know of alternate effective ways to avoid grinding your teeth while sleeping? Thanks for your help!

Why not wait til you see whether it really is a problem? After all they fit these to many people, and presumably they all get to sleep.
