You have to come to the table with a little something. Like I mentioned above, **Trihs** likes to talk about his Asperger’s. He also likes to complain about getting beaten up in high school (Keep in mind that he really _is_ 40). Now maybe there’s a place in the world where that combination will guarantee that you’ll be washed and waxed every weekend, and if so, I’m really, REALLY sorry I didn’t grow up there, but I kind of doubt it. There are leftists who give out that sense of danger, who don’t mind being beaten up by police and dockworkers and then there are leftists who are like . . . **Trihs**. There’s a good reason deodorant makers give their products names like “Axe Body Spray” and not “Pathos” or “Autism.” ---

To me there has to be an element of dishonesty. I don’t know if that is the textbook definition. I believe he believes everything he says. I also believe for past posts that he is unwilling to say in public to anyone most of the shit he spews here, not just a few cherished secrets. ---

**Der Trihs** and I certainly have our differences, and I know that he dislikes me due to my political and religious opinions. However, it bothers me every time I see someone say that he lives in his parents’ basement. His parents are no longer living, and being about his age and having a husband whose parents are also both dead, I have an idea what it’s like to be in that situation. It pretty much sucks. I know that the folks who make these comments don’t realize that his parents are dead, but it goes to show how you can rub salt in wounds without even knowing it by conjecturing about peoples’ personal lives. I don’t mean to sound like I’m finger-wagging, this has just been bugging me and I had to get it off my chest. ☹ ---

Eh, I don’t think there is anything wrong with ‘prudence’ in expressing one’s views. People treat it like it’s intellectual dishonesty for people to have tact off the forum that they don’t have on the forum. That’s stupid. I don’t go around alienating people by expressing my controversial views all over town. (I’ve done plenty of it but I regret much of it) There is a time and a place, and this is certainly the time and the place. ---
