Well, I think the loon has finally jumped the shark. Well, I think we’ve just stumbled onto a similar situation. What we have here, folks, is a _Trihsatribe_ (_Der Trihs_ merged with _Diatribe_). Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised at all that he types his screeds one-handed. ---

I don’t get why anyone tries to seriously engage him. In a thread about the U.S. with 50 posts, 10 will be from Der Trihs, of which 9 will be about how terrible the U.S. is (the tenth will be an off-topic comment about how terrible religion is). I agree with him on numerous issues, but I hope I get never get as Alzheimery-repetitive as him. ---

I’m not sure exactly what got your panties in a wad. **Der Trihs** thinks the US is a military bully. Shock! **Der Trihs** thinks that the US hesitates before attacking countries with nuclear weapons Really! Next thing you’ll tell us that there is gambling going on at Rick’s. ---

I almost fell out of my chair when he said “Our allies have nuclear weapons.” Apparently, he’s completely unaware of our non-nuclear allies. And the bit about our allies being immune from attack was astonishing, even for him. Of course, he had to take a gratuitous swipe with “even from us” in there. Plus, I felt the need to post my portmanteau. ---

But it’s much better than your ability to stay seated. The fact that the US has non-nuclear allies changes the fact that France and other allies do have nuclear weapons how? Did he write that “every single one of the US’s allies have nuclear weapons” or just that our allies do? If the latter, then he was factually correct, and you should remain seated. ---

Is it even possible that DT _ever_ jumped the shark? Did he used to be a tempered, mild-mannered poster here and then one day just went batshit insane with his postings about America and such? I mean, I’m a big fan of Der Trihs and all, but I just can’t ever imagining ever thinking he was any different than he has been ever since I joined the message boards (which to be fair was not all that long ago). ---

If anything he’s toned it down a bit. I remember the days when he used to say things like if he had super powers he’d kill everyone in the U.S. military and its civilian support staff too (though to be fair, I don’t know if this extended so far as to the farmers and ranchers who grew their food). ---
